The Role
As a Steel Erector, you will be responsible for the safe installation and erection of structural steelwork on a variety of commercial, industrial, and construction projects. You'll work as part of a professional team, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

Erecting structural steelwork in accordance with engineering drawings.

Installing beams, columns, staircases, handrails, and other steel components.

Using lifting equipment and working alongside crane operators.

Carrying out site measurements and ensuring accurate installation.

Working safely at height and following all health and safety procedures.

Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are met.

Working effectively as part of a site team to meet project deadlines.
Requirements

Previous experience as a Steel Erector is essential.

Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.

CSCS card required (Blue/Gold preferred).

IPAF, PASMA, or CPCS qualifications are advantageous.

Comfortable working at height.

Strong understanding of site health and safety.

Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.

Full UK driving licence preferred.
