Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join the NHS on an ongoing temporary contarct based at Royal Blackburn Hospital. This is a part-time role working 22.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities

Provide pharmacy technician support within the Corporate Pharmacy service.

Contribute to the delivery of a safe, effective and high-quality medicines management service.

Support pharmacy activities and services within the Pendle View Unit.

Work collaboratively with pharmacists, pharmacy colleagues and wider clinical teams.

Ensure medicines-related processes are completed accurately and in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

Support the safe and effective use of medicines across the service.

Maintain accurate records and ensure appropriate documentation is completed.

Promote good medicines management practice and contribute to patient safety.

Work in accordance with NHS policies, pharmacy procedures and professional standards.
Requirements:

Current Pharmacy Technician registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician.

Experience within an NHS or hospital pharmacy environment is desirable
