Transport Operator
Pertemps have an excellent opportunity to work as a Transport Operator within there expanding transport team. The reason for expansion is due to new contract wins.
Working Hours / Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- 9am to 5:30pm
The successful Transport Operator
- Have previous experience in a fast paced Transport and Logistics Operation.
- Be comfortable with Microsoft Excel
- Strong communicator on email, phone and in person
Your duties as a Transport Operator will include:
- Track and coordinate shipments from the EU to UK.
- Monitor vehicle and shipment movements using TMS systems.
- Escalate critical operational issues and and implement recovery plans.
- Work collaboratively with Transport Planners and Customs team.
