Bridgeman Recruitment Services are currently looking for an experienced Stonemason to work on a stone building in Wigan, carrying out repairs to cracked and damaged stonework.
Duties:

Repairing cracks and damage to existing stonework

Carefully removing and replacing damaged sections where required

Repointing and repairing joints
-
Matching existing stonework and finishes
-
Carrying out detailed restoration and remedial works
-
Ensuring repairs blend seamlessly with the existing building

Working safely around the building and following site instructions

Maintaining a clean and tidy working area
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Stonemason
-
Previous experience repairing and restoring existing stone buildings
-
Strong attention to detail and quality of finish
-
Ability to identify and repair cracks and defects in stonework
-
Relevant CSCS card preferred
-
Own tools and PPE
-
Reliable and able to work independently
