Pertemps Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Class 1 W&D Tramper running out of Coatbridge.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established transport operation offering guaranteed hours, regular overtime, and generous overnight allowances.
Working Pattern:-

Monday to Friday

Tramping Monday to Thursday

Paid travel home on Friday

Minimum of 45 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:-
-
Carrying out Class 1 deliveries and collections across the UK
-
Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport legislation
-
Securing loads safely and delivering goods on time
-
Accurately completing delivery paperwork and using electronic POD systems where required
-
Maintaining high standards of customer service when delivering to clients
-
Adhering to all health and safety procedures and driving regulations
What We're Looking For:-

Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
-
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
-
Previous Class 1 tramping experience preferred

Strong understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations

Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach

Successful candidates must pass a Drug & Alcohol test prior to starting employment
What's On Offer:-

£17.00 per hour PAYE

Permanent, full-time position

Minimum 45 hours guaranteed per week

Regular overtime available
-
£28 overnight allowance for each night out (Monday to Thursday)

Paid travel home on Fridays
