Electrician – New Build Hospital Project
Location: Shrewsbury
Rate: £26.00 per hour
Hours: 45 Hours per Week
Duration: 6+ Months
Start Date: Immediate (17/08/2026)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a major new build hospital project in Shrewsbury.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a prestigious healthcare development, working alongside an established electrical contractor on a high-profile project.
Scope of Works
The successful candidate will be assisting Electricians with a wide range of commercial electrical installation works, including:

Installing ladder rack, tray, trunking and galvanised conduit.

Assisting with electrical containment systems.

Supporting single-phase electrical installations.
-
Pulling, routing and dressing cables.
-
Assisting with first and second fix electrical works.
-
Working from drawings and site specifications.
-
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area.
-
Adhering to site Health & Safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:

Gold JIB.
-
IPAF Licence.
-
Previous experience on commercial construction projects.

Own hand tools and full PPE.
-
Good attitude, reliability and willingness to work as part of a team.
