Site Foreman – Infrastructure Scheme
Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Foreman to join a major infrastructure scheme in Didcot, working for a well-established main contractor.
This is a hands-on site-based role overseeing the day-to-day activities of site teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
The Role

Supervise and coordinate site operatives, subcontractors and plant.

Oversee day-to-day construction activities across the project.

Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the programme.

Coordinate labour, materials and plant to maintain productivity.

Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure works are completed to the required specification.

Brief site teams on RAMS, safe systems of work and daily activities.

Liaise with Site Agents, Engineers and subcontractors to resolve issues and keep works progressing.

Maintain accurate site records and report progress, issues and requirements to the management team.

Ensure housekeeping, health & safety and environmental standards are maintained.
About You
-
Previous experience as a Site Foreman / General Foreman on civil engineering or major infrastructure projects.

Strong understanding of construction site operations and sequencing.

Experience supervising site teams and subcontractors.

Ideally experienced across earthworks, structures or general civils.

Good knowledge of health & safety requirements and site procedures.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

CSCS and relevant site qualifications.
-
SMSTS or SSSTS would be advantageous.
