We are seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to support a major construction project, responsible for accurate setting out and surveying activities across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Set out works accurately using total stations, GPS and surveying equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and coordinates.
- Provide levels, grids and control points for construction teams.
- Carry out quality checks and record survey data.
- Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer within construction/civil engineering.
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles and construction drawings.
- Competent with Total Station, GPS and AutoCAD.
- Relevant engineering/surveying qualification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to H&S.
- CSCS or equivalent site certification
