Our client requires an experienced Sewing Machinist to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Selby. This role involves producing felt liners used within the manufacturing process, working as part of a small, friendly production team. We are open to someone who wants the role and can accommodate either 15 – 20 hours per week or full time if needed.
This is a great opportunity for someone with sewing machine experience who enjoys practical, hands-on work in a busy manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities

Sewing felt liners for use in the manufacturing side of the business

Operating industrial sewing machines to produce quality products

Working from simple instructions and ensuring consistent standards

Checking finished items for quality and accuracy

Maintaining a tidy and safe work area
Ideal Candidate

Experience as a Sewing Machinist or in a similar role

Ability to use overlock and flat bed sewing machines (preferred)

Good attention to detail and quality

Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment would be advantageous
