CNC Machinist – Milling and Turning Lathes
The Job
-
Operate a range of machining tools including CNC machines to repair or manufacture components according to drawings and sample.

Run and Operate Siemens CNC lathes and millers

Produce high-quality precision components to engineering drawings and specifications.

Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for efficient production.

Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections using measuring equipment.

Interpret technical drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing instructions.

Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and tools, including calibration and cleaning, to ensure optimal performance.

Measure finished products using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance with specifications.

Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
About you
-
Proven experience as a CNC Turner and/or CNC Miller.

Ability to set and operate CNC machinery independently.
-
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
-
Knowledge of machining techniques, tooling, and cutting practices.
