Trainee Health & Safety Consultant required to join a well-established architectural practice.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience within a supportive and experienced team. You'll work on a diverse range of construction projects, developing your knowledge of health and safety legislation, risk management and best practice while receiving structured training and ongoing professional development.
The Role
As a Trainee Health & Safety Consultant, you will support the delivery of health and safety consultancy services across a variety of construction projects. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will build your technical knowledge and develop the skills needed to become a confident health and safety professional.
Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with site inspections and health and safety audits.

Preparing reports following site visits, identifying observations and making practical recommendations.

Assisting in the preparation and review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).

Supporting clients in maintaining high standards of health and safety compliance.

Assisting with the preparation and review of health and safety documentation.

Liaising with clients, contractors and design teams.

Maintaining accurate project documentation and records.

Developing your understanding of construction health and safety legislation and industry best practice.

Supporting senior consultants with a range of health and safety consultancy activities as required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and eager to develop a long-term career in health and safety.
Ideally, you will have:
Qualifications
- A qualification in Health & Safety, Construction or a related discipline (such as NEBOSH, NVQ, BTEC, HNC/HND in Construction, Building Studies or a similar subject).
Experience

A genuine interest in construction health and safety.

Previous experience within a construction, property or professional practice environment would be beneficial.

Good communication and organisational skills.

A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.

A full UK driving licence.
