The Role
As a PSV Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring the company's fleet of modern coaches is maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability and presentation.
Working within a well-equipped workshop, you'll carry out servicing, inspections, diagnostics and repairs to minimise vehicle downtime and ensure every vehicle leaves the depot in peak operating condition.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on coaches.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults.

Complete routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance in line with DVSA and manufacturer standards.

Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and ensure they remain fully roadworthy.

Carry out fault diagnosis using modern diagnostic equipment.

Respond to vehicle defects and complete repairs efficiently.

Accurately complete job cards and maintenance records.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the workshop.

Work closely with the engineering team to maximise vehicle availability.

Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
What We're Looking For

NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, IMI or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.

Experience working on PSV, HGV, LGV or other heavy vehicles.

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.

Ability to work independently and as part of a professional workshop team.

A positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

A PSV licence is desirable but not essential.
