The Job:
-
Set and Edit programmes using Fanuc controls.
-
Experience of programming would be a distinct advantage.
-
Knowledge of manual machining would be desirable.
-
Must be able to read an interpret engineering drawings.
-
Inspection of own work using conventional measurement techniques
-
Confident to install cutting tools, attachments and fixtures
-
Training and progression offered
About you:
-
Experience of working with precision parts working to tight tolerances
-
Experience of operating and setting to machine various components
-
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
-
Confidence and the ability to work in a precision engineering environment and the ability to work on bespoke and one-off items.
-
Experience of Vertical or Horziontal milling would be a distinct advantage
-
Flexible to work rotating day shifts.
-
willing to work overtime as and when required
