Electrical Estimator (Substations / Infrastructure Projects)

£65,000 – £75,000 + package
We’re recruiting for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join an established regional contractor delivering specialist electrical works across substation, industrial and infrastructure projects.
This is a key role focused on pricing complex electrical packages within critical infrastructure environments, not typical building services or commercial fit-out work.

The Role

Preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical works within substations and industrial environments

Taking ownership of tenders from initial enquiry through to submission

Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation

Carrying out detailed take-offs and first-principles pricing

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing

Supporting project teams through handover and delivery phases
What We’re Looking For

Experience as an Electrical Estimator within industrial or infrastructure projects

Background in substations, HV/LV distribution, earthing or similar specialist electrical works

Strong technical understanding of electrical installations in heavy / industrial environments

Confident pricing from first principles
