About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy manufacturing team based in Appleton Thorn. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role with a well-established business, working on a fixed day shift with an early finish every Friday.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out production MIG welding to a high standard, ensuring all work meets quality and productivity requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Performing production MIG welding on a variety of metal components

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings where required

Ensuring welds meet quality specifications and standards

Carrying out visual inspections of completed work

Working to production targets while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

Maintaining a safe and tidy work area

Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements
-
Previous MIG welding experience within a manufacturing or production environment

Ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds

Good attention to detail and quality standards

Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team

Due to the location of the site, candidates must have their own transport and be able to drive

A weld test will be required as part of the recruitment process
