About the Role
We are currently recruiting for Electrical Test Engineers for ongoing contract work in Nottingham.
This is not a standard electrician role — we are specifically looking for specialist electrical test engineers with strong experience in inspection, testing, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out inspection and testing in line with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations

Complete and submit accurate Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)

Perform fault finding and ensure installations meet current regulations

Work across commercial sites, including large-scale properties

Adhere strictly to health & safety procedures
Requirements
-
Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on testing & inspection

Strong working knowledge of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)

City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) – highly desirable
-
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

Valid ECS or CSCS card

Experience completing EICRs (Electrical Inspection Condition Reports)

Ideally experienced testing large commercial properties

Full UK driving licence (desirable)
