Brazer / Welder
Location: Near Uxbridge (commutable from Denham, Slough, Wembley, High Wycombe, Watford, Luton, Hemel Hempstead etc)
Salary: £35,500 starting salary + excellent benefits
Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00, Friday 08:00–12:00

What you’ll be doing
-
Carrying out brazing operations (low-temp silver and high-temp brass) on pipes, fittings, and sub-assemblies
-
Performing arc welding (including TIG) on aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel components
-
Working to high aerospace standards and specifications
-
Setting and operating spot welding equipment
-
Preparing components including deburring, polishing, and cleaning
-
Completing inspection checks including ball bearing tests and visual quality checks
-
Supporting development work, including proof-of-concept welding activities
-
Assisting with welding tasks across maintenance and production when required
What they’re looking for
-
Previous experience in brazing and arc welding within an engineering or manufacturing environment
-
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
-
Experience using measuring equipment and workshop tools (grinders, gas cutters, etc.)
-
Familiarity with TIG (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) processes
-
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
-
Experience working with aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel
-
Ideally certified to relevant welding standards (e.g. aerospace or BS/EN equivalents)

Hands-on, reliable, and comfortable working in a production environment
