BMS Field Service Engineer

An established Building Management Systems specialist is looking to recruit a BMS Field Service Engineer to join its growing service team.
This is a mobile field-based role supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial clients across London and the South East. It suits a self-motivated engineer who enjoys working independently while being part of a supportive service team.
The Role

Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of BMS systems

Fault finding, diagnostics, and breakdown call-outs

Completing remedial works and minor upgrades

Supporting upgrades, panel modifications, and some commissioning

Producing accurate service reports

Identifying opportunities to improve system performance and energy efficiency

Acting as a key point of contact on selected client sites

Participation in an on-call rota
Requirements
Essential
-
Minimum 1 year’s experience within the BMS industry

Previous experience in a service-based engineering role
-
Strong knowledge of at least one BMS platform

Good communication and IT skills

Right to work in the UK

Based within or close to the M25
Desirable
- Manufacturer certifications (e.g. Trend, Tridium N4, Delta)
