Assistant Accountant
Caerphilly Area
Part Time 16-20 hours per week flexible
Salary circa £33-35,000 pro rata
The role will be a circa 6-month contract to start but will likely lead to a permanent role.
An exceptional opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join an International Engineering organisation in this newly created office-based role. You must have 3 years + UK accounting experience
Main responsibilities
You will be required to Assist the Company accountant in all aspects of the day-to-day accounts and support the sales and purchase ledger functions
Assist with any accounting entries up to trial balance stage
Financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash flow forecasting as required
Setting up reporting and schedules in Sage 200
Provide cover for both the accountant and sales and purchase ledger clerks
The Assistant Accountant Finance Assistant is likely to be AAT or ACCA part Qualified
This is a Part time role and you must live in or near South Wales
You must also have;
The permanent right to work in the UK
A minimum of 3 years + experience in a UK Accounting role
Travel to work from;
Pontypridd, Caerphilly, Blackwood, Newbridge, Ystrad Mynach, Treforest, Cwmbran, Aberdare, Cardiff. Newport
