Job Summary:
We are looking for a professional, friendly, and customer-focused Receptionist/Concierge to join our team on a contract hire basis. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, providing a welcoming front-of-house experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the reception area. This role involves managing visitor access, handling telephone and email enquiries, providing administrative support, and maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a proactive approach to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:

Welcome visitors, clients, contractors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.

Manage the reception desk and maintain a high standard of presentation.

Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and emails promptly.

Handle visitor sign-in procedures and issue visitor passes.

Monitor access control systems and ensure security procedures are followed.

Manage meeting room bookings and prepare rooms when required.

Assist with contractor management by ensuring contractors are signed in, issued with the appropriate access passes, and comply with site security and health & safety procedures.

Receive, sort, and distribute mail, deliveries, and courier packages.

Maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.

Escalate issues or incidents to the appropriate department or management where required.

Support the coordination of site events, meetings, and visitor arrangements when required.

Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.

Support visitor travel arrangements as required
Requirements:

Previous experience in Reception, Concierge, Customer Service, Hospitality, or Front of House.

Excellent verbal and written English.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional appearance and manner.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.

Excellent organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Right to work in Ireland
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience in a corporate environment.

Experience using visitor management systems.
-
Knowledge of access control systems.
-
Experience working within Facilities Management or Corporate Services.

First Aid certification (desirable)
