Learning Support Assistant – Carlisle
We are currently recruiting for Learning Support Assistants to join an education setting in Carlisle supporting learners aged 16-19.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting learners and helping them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities

Provide classroom and 1:1 learning support to students.

Support learners with additional learning needs and disabilities.

Help students engage with lessons and complete learning activities.

Provide encouragement and support to build confidence and independence.

Work closely with teaching staff to meet individual learner needs.

Support students with their personal development and progression.

Assist with maintaining a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
-
Enhanced Child and Adult DBS required.

Previous experience supporting learners in a school, college or education setting.

Experience working with SEND/additional learning needs is desirable.

Patient, supportive and confident working with young people.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
