About the RoleA well-established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a motivated General Operative to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a factory or manufacturing environment who is looking to develop new skills and build a long-term career.
Experience operating heavy machinery or industrial equipment is highly desirable. CNC machinery experience would be an advantage; however, full training will be provided for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
Operating and assisting with a variety of production machinery
Supporting daily manufacturing operations
Moving materials and products safely around the workshop
Following work instructions and production schedules
Performing quality checks on completed work
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
Learning new manufacturing processes and machine operationCandidate Requirements
Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, engineering, or factory environment
Experience operating machinery or industrial equipment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Good attention to detail
