Warehouse Operative (FLT)
Location: Yate, Bristol
Salary: £30,000 per annum + yearly bonuses
Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts: 5:00am – 1:00pm / 1:00pm – 10:00pm (42.5 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative (FLT) to join a busy, well-established, and highly organised timber supplier based in Yate, Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for a secure, permanent position from day one. This is not a standard warehouse role - full training will be provided, including on-site training to operate Combi FLT trucks, offering excellent career progression.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Picking timber orders accurately to specific customer measurements using a pick sheet

Measuring materials accurately (calculators provided, basic maths required)

Picking and handling large timber products

Loading and unloading goods and materials safely

Operating Counterbalance and Combi FLT trucks around the site

Adhering strictly to all warehouse processes and safety regulations
What We’re Looking For:

Experience operating a Counterbalance or Reach FLT
-
Valid FLT licence preferred, but we welcome in-house, expired licences, or strong practical experience

A willingness to learn new processes and handle specialized products

Flexibility to work the weekly rotating shift patterns

Reliability, a strong work ethic, and good attention to detail

Physically fit and happy handling larger, heavy items
