About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Sales Administrator to join a busy and supportive team in Basingstoke.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a customer-focused environment and is confident managing a combination of sales administration, customer enquiries and general office responsibilities.
You will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the branch, ensuring customer requests, orders and administrative tasks are handled accurately and efficiently.
Working hours - Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)
Key Responsibilities

Respond to customer enquiries by telephone, email and face-to-face, providing a professional and helpful service.

Deal with customer concerns and complaints, resolving issues wherever possible and escalating more complex matters when required.

Process customer orders, quotations, enquiries and returns accurately and within agreed timescales.

Provide administrative and operational support to the General Manager.

Complete data entry, reporting, filing and document management as required.

Assist with maintaining branch compliance with relevant statutory, regulatory, health and safety and operational requirements.

Support the wider sales team with general administration and customer-related activities.

Take on additional administrative duties and tasks as required by the management team.

Help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the branch through effective communication and organisation.
