*The Position*
Our client is looking for Plant Controller to join their growing team!
Primary responsibilities include:
* Manages financial records and audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Evaluates cost implications of product, material, and service changes.
* Analyzes manufacturing costs and implements cost control measures.
* Monitors spending, profit, and loss against forecasts, taking corrective actions as needed.
* Collaborates with plant management on cost reduction strategies and provides senior management with requested insights.
*Qualifications and Candidate Background*
The ideal candidate will have:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
* 8-10 years of experience in accounting or finance; preferably in a manufacturing setting.
* Strong process improvement skills to enhance efficiency in financial reporting.
* Excellent planning, organizational, and time management abilities.
* Deep understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
