Job summary:
The CDL Driver is responsible for operating company owned truck-trailer combinations. The CDL Driver must apply knowledge of commercial driving regulations to transport and deliver oilfield equipment in a safe and timely manner.
Starting Pay: $22.30/Hour. Can be adjusted with experience.
Shift Hours: Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday. Potential for overtime as business demands.
What you will do:
Complies with all Hours-of-Service Regulations, as well as all state, local and federal guidelines
Operate Electronic Logging Devices per requirements
Inspect truck and trailer combinations before and after trips and submit report indicating truck/trailer condition
Fasten load on trailers to ensure safe transit
Assist in loading and unloading trucks
Service the truck with oil, fuel and radiator fluid to maintain truck-trailer
Complete JSA’s/POWRAs Job safety analysis and point of work risk assessment
Journey Management Compliance third party company that tracks your driving hours
Ensure completion of all associated paperwork in an organized and legible manner
Knowledge of SPM Oil and Gas products and customer requirements
Provides proper care and maintenance of all tools, trucks and trailers
Must be willing to travel with occasional overnight stays
This position will require the ability to drive a company issued vehicle
Performs other duties as assigned
What you will have:
Two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid and current CDL
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Have a clean driving record, which generally means:
No more than (2) moving violations within the last 12 months.
No more than three (3) moving violations in the past three (3) years
Demonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability, and solid work ethic

Physical Demands:
Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
Required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Must be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department
Work Environment:
Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles
Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibration
Noise Level: Moderate
