As a full time, nonexempt, CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician, Automation Specialist at Methodist Hospital Southlake, under the supervision of the Associate Director of Pharmacy, you'll be responsible for the centralized automated dispensing cabinet set up and day-to-day operations. You'll work closely with Pharmacy staff, Nursing staff, Patient Care Service users, field pharmacists and technicians, and vendor staff. You'll perform quality assessment and performance improvement functions. Other duties include maintaining patient records, and setting up, packaging, and labeling of medication doses and billing. You will perform job duties under minimal supervision within pharmacy standards, written procedures and guidelines, and state regulatory requirements. You'll be responsible for the accurate completion of daily activities and the follow through of tasks to ensure completion. Additionally, you'll assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements. Based upon business needs, this position may also be scheduled to cover the overnight shift or work at the Northlake campus in Gary.
Schedule: This position will work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
Indiana Licensure/Registration/Certification requirements
In-deph knowledge of common hardware and software troubleshooting methods and techniques pertaining to ADCs (Omnicell)
1 to 2 years experience working with ADCs (Omnicell)
Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Current and valid Indiana driver's license Class A or B
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
(PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
(MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
Hep B3 Series (or declination)
(Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
