We are currently seeking a full-time *Credentialing Specialist. * The Credentialing Specialist supports operational and regulatory processes in support of the Office of Risk Management _a_nd Regulatory Affairs, including ongoing credentialing, privileging, medical staff governance, and participation in regulatory and performance improvement functions. This position reviews, analyzes, and follows up on credentialing applications and status, maintaining strict confidentiality and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and accrediting and regulatory agencies.
*Requirements:*
* Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
* Actively pursue certification as a CPMSM or CPCS within two years of hire.
* Must maintain certification status.
* Minimum three years of experience in a similar position in a hospital/medical or credentialing office.
This is a full-time exempt position working in the MPTF Risk Management and Regulatory Affairs Office as well as in other MPTF facilities as needed.
