The Steve Napleton Dealer Group is looking for a used car sales manager. This position plays a key role of our management team, the ideal Used Car Sales Manager is well-informed and extremely knowledgeable on vehicle selection, performance, accessories, inefficiencies, safety, features and functions, and financing options associated with our used inventory. You will also be expected to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws addressing complaints and resolving problems.
He or she has the ability to lead, mentor, guide, coach, and work with various types of personalities with professionalism and respect. The Used Car Sales Manager has the ability and experience in desking and closing deals, motivating sales teams, controlling inventory, appraising vehicles, and acquiring vehicles.
Used Car Sales Manager Responsibilities:
Organizing and displaying used cars on used car lot
Acquisitions of used cars on simulcast auctions
Appraising cars
Reconditioning of used cars
Desking deals with salespeople
Floor management, making deals with salespeople.
Managing inventory
Wholesale cars at auction when needed.
** Experience in a high-volume pre-owned automotive dealership with a proven track record required **
