Job Description:
Plan and administer prescribed PT treatment programs; help restore your patients’ function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following illness, disease, or injury
Take your patient’s medical history
Conduct tests and measures to identify potential and/or existing problems your patients are facing
Complete re-examinations as needed
Develop discharge plans
Job Requirements:
Education Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or a foreign degree equivalent as accepted by US Citizenship and Immigration Services or a Bachelor’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Credentialed Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program, obtained a passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination and currently licensed in applicable state where working. Experience Prior experience in Physical Therapy, preferred. Physical Demands Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Walking, standing, bending, stooping and sitting for prolonged periods. Full use of gross and fine motor skills of the upper and lower extremities. Possesses verbal and written communication skills. Ability to use senses in applicable tests and equipment use
