At ASSA ABLOY, our Access Egress Hardware Team is looking to expand their division as we seek to hire an ERP Analyst. This individual will dive into the heart of operations, where you’ll wield the power of JD Edwards ERP Product Configurator to sculpt and maintain product data with accuracy and precision.
You will be at the forefront of streamlining processes, ensuring that every product detail is updated and organized within our ERP system. As an Analyst, you will shape the interface where customer orders seamlessly converge, to the intuitive rules-based engine that you’ll master.
This position will report to the ERP Product Data Manager and will sit onsite full-time New Haven, CT.
What you will be doing
As an ERP Analyst, you will work with various stakeholders to drive efficiency & quality on-time with new product developments while managing production updates.
Create and deploy product configurations for New Product Development, sustaining products and I.T. project engagements. This will encompass data configurations, rigorous testing, and validation.
Design and execute configured item setup for sellable products, including the precise allocation of requisite segments, to optimize operational efficiency.
Manage User Defined Code (UDC) tables, facilitating seamless selection of allowable values within the system.
Develop and implement Assembly Inclusion Rules (AIRs), encompassing comprehensive rule-writing for parts, routings, pricing, calculations, and hot spots.
Create and implement Cross-Segment Editing Rules (CSRs) to enhance the identification and verification of product exceptions, limitations, and restrictions, thereby ensuring data integrity.
Identify and rectify missing or incorrect parts and assemblies to uphold precise costing and manufacturing requisites.
Facilitate seamless communication with cross-functional teams daily to address errors, troubleshoot configuration issues, and resolve data discrepancies related to ERP Product Data.
Provide ongoing support to day-to-day operations and cross-functional teams, conducting continuous product data maintenance through the utilization of exception reports to preserve ERP data quality and integrity.
Collaborate with the JDE I.T. Team as a production user.
Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to develop new configured product structures, including revised documentation layouts, in alignment with New Product Development and sustaining engineering endeavors.
Provide comprehensive support for large ERP Product Data transformations and related activities. This will include working closely with the JDE I.T. Team to troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies.
Engage in the Engineering Change Process to ensure a smooth integration within operational frameworks.
Offer insights and guidance to Engineering and Operations Teams to streamline new Product Data releases, updates, and changes into the ERP system.
Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of ERP Product Data, encompassing Item Master, Item Branch, and Bill of Material functions, to facilitate informed decision-making and operational excellence.
What we are looking for
Must hold a minimum of 2-5 years of experience working with an ERP system.
Ability to consolidate information into a cohesive and understandable format for presentation or review for use in project and management decision making.
Strong analytical and data management skills and ability to understand production and engineering business processes.
Working knowledge of in business processes such as Part/BOM management, Engineering Change management (ECR/ECO), and manufacturing & production processes.
Ability to take the lead on various projects as assigned.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) is required.
Preferred Skills:
Hands-on experience working with JDE ERP.
A general understanding of manufacturing and production processes as they relate to the ERP system.
