Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 annually (dependent on experience and licensure status)
Additional Benefits:
Opportunity for $4,000 annual raise for the first 2 years of employment
$7,500 signing bonus ($3,000 at 90 days, $3,000 at 6 months, $1,500 at 9 months)
Position Type: Full-Time (in person)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; monthly family workshop on Saturdays

Job Description: Embark is seeking a passionate and experienced Family Therapy Specialist to join our dynamic clinical team. As the Family Therapy Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing therapeutic consultation and expertise to clients and their families. Collaborating closely with the clinical director and leadership team, you will set the strategic direction of our Family Services program.
Responsibilities:
Conduct weekly parent coaching sessions, guiding and supporting client caregivers through therapeutic processes.
Organize and host monthly family workshops to strengthen relationships and facilitate holistic healing.
Disseminate educational resources to families via Family Bridge platform, ensuring access to valuable information.
Facilitate therapeutic groups, fostering a supportive environment for shared experiences and mutual support among clients and families.
Actively participate in relevant meetings, including treatment reviews, clinical leadership meetings, and one-on-one sessions.
Collaborate with therapists weekly to integrate family therapy into client treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
Lead weekly caregiver support groups for both current and alumni families, fostering ongoing support and connection.
Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), including caregiver treatment goals and progress notes.
Contribute to peer reviews as needed, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Provide coverage for therapists' sessions, enrollments, and groups during their absence to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
Participate in the therapeutic on-call (TOC) rotation schedule to offer support and guidance to clients and families outside of regular business hours.
Support marketing efforts by engaging in tours, meals, educational sessions, and conferences to represent Embark and promote its services.
Coordinate discharge planning activities, providing ongoing updates on treatment progress and collaborating with referral sources.
Assist in collecting outcomes data to evaluate program effectiveness and enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Must hold an LCSW, LPC, or MFT license or be a registered Intern.
A minimum of five years of experience in inpatient, outpatient, and/or mental health care, preferably in a residential program setting, with two years of post-licensure experience.
Must have direct clinical, case management and/or family coaching experience.
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it is required.
Ability to pass a state background check and pre-employment drug screening
The ability to work effectively with high-needs clients and families while maintaining excellent personal boundaries.
