Link is seeking a Vice President, Product Management - Financial Systems, to deliver transformative projects and operate our Finance, Investments, and Development platforms. The platform includes several financial technology applications, products, and services that enable the work of our Financial Planning & Analysis, Capital Markets, Debt Capital Market, Investments, and Property Development business teams.
The leader will work closely with business partners and key stakeholders to determine how technology can enable business goals. This includes developing and executing the strategic roadmap for our financial systems products. They will also lead a customer-focused team of product managers and business analysts, emphasizing technology adoption, process optimization, and continuous transformation of the platform in partnership with business leaders. The leader will also partner with our Enterprise Architecture, Data and Analytics, and Technology Product teams to create and operate an industry-leading Real Estate Technology ecosystem. This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Technology – Financial Systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Platform Management
Develop and communicate a compelling product roadmap for the financial systems portfolio, aligning with overall company goals and objectives.
Stay abreast of real estate finance, PropTech, and enterprise finance products, services, and industry trends to meet customer needs to drive continuous innovation and improvement.
Develop and maintain a deep and broad understanding of the Financial Planning and Analysis, Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Investments and Property Development function within Link’s Finance team.
Engage with business stakeholders to solicit and manage requests that equitably handles competing priorities across business teams.
Build strong relationships with key customers to gather feedback and ensure alignment with their evolving needs.
Team Leadership
Lead and inspire a high-performing team of product managers and business analysts fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for team members.
Project Delivery
Lead the development of business cases, user requirements, and project charters with business partners
Manage processes to prioritize projects, plan releases, and manage resources across a portfolio of projects
Manage processes for testing, release management, and change control
Manage communications with stakeholders, project team, and business and technology management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience in a senior product management role, with a focus on financial systems or related technologies
Demonstrated understanding of the Financial Planning and Analysis function from the technical standpoint, experience with Argus, Anaplan or similar applications important to this role
Experience leading financial system implementations and upgrades
Knowledge of real estate industry and CRE technology.
Ability to concisely articulate problems and analyze solution alternatives
Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across department
Minimum Experience
Minimum of 10 years technology industry experience
Minimum of 7 years managing complex technology products
Significant history managing product development and technology implementation projects
Real Estate financial systems management
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
