*Job Summary: *
As an ENT Physician, you will specialize in diagnosing and treating disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting patient consultations, performing diagnostic tests and procedures, prescribing medications to improve patients' ear, nose, and throat health.
*About the Facility: *This facility is a multispecialty diagnostic and treatment center with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals offering a range of medical specialties including Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Podiatry, and Endocrinology. On-site radiology services also available.
*Responsibilities:*
* Evaluate patients presenting with ear, nose, throat, head, and neck symptoms, including hearing loss, sinus congestion, sore throat, and swallowing difficulties.
* Perform comprehensive physical examinations of the head and neck, including otoscopy, nasal endoscopy, and laryngoscopy, to assess patients' ENT conditions.
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as audiograms, CT scans, MRI scans, and flexible laryngoscopies, to aid in the diagnosis and management of ENT disorders.
* Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their diagnoses, medical histories, and preferences, utilizing a combination of medications, and therapies.
* Educate patients about their ENT conditions, including the underlying causes, potential complications, and treatment options, to facilitate shared decision-making and promote patient engagement in their care.
* Provide postoperative care and follow-up to monitor patients' recovery progress, address any complications or concerns, and optimize outcomes.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, audiologists, speech therapists, and oncologists, to provide coordinated, multidisciplinary care to patients with complex ENT conditions.
* Stay current with advancements in otolaryngology research, treatments, and guidelines through continuing medical education (CME), professional development activities, and participation in medical conferences and seminars.
* Adhere to ethical and professional standards of conduct, including maintaining patient confidentiality, respecting patients' autonomy, and providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
*Qualifications:*
* Board certification (BC/BE) in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
* Valid medical license to practice in NYS
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

*Physical Requirements:*
* Ability to perform physical examinations including fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $144.00 - $150.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
