About the Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor:
The Registered Nurse Supervisor manages, supervises, and delivers quality nursing care ensuring the safety and well-being of MAHOVA’s Residents in a cost-effective manner, and recommends suggestions for continuous quality enhancements. Oversees appropriate staffing, compliance, and documentation for nursing staff. Other duties as assigned. The shift for this position is 7pm - 7am two nights a week and every other weekend.
Benefits for the PT Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor:
Pay rate ranges from $33.00/hr to $41.00/hr, depending on experience + $3.50/hr - $5.25/hr shift differential

Responsibilities of the PT Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor:
Assures nursing staff are in compliance with requisite laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures through direct assessment and management.
Assures appropriate staffing to meet Residents’ needs. Ensures that staff observes assigned Residents for significant changes in condition; receives reports of any significant changes and assures appropriate follow-up.
Assures appropriate nursing department documentation and intra- and inter-departmental communication and collaboration through regular ongoing monitoring and follow-up as indicated.
Supports and assists staff to succeed by orienting, evaluating, educating, coaching, and counseling.
Qualifications of the PT Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions; CPR-certified
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
Minimum of two years directly related supervisory experience preferably in long-term care or continuing care retirement community setting serving the elderly
