As a Live Good *Lead* *Merchandiser,* you will assist with displaying and watering plants indoors and in the Garden Center of a large national retailer. Candidates with retail, customer service, or industry experience preferred but not required.
*Essential Functions/Duties:*
* Give multiple daily field updates to Manager via phone call, text, or _Repsly _(app).
* Work with your team to merchandise live goods according store layout to optimize visibility and sales.
· Walk all areas where there is plant material and determine tasks that need to be completed for your shift that day - reconnect with store management to go over concerns (water issues, state of plant material, pricing, displays) if necessary.
· Lead Merchandisers may be required to travel from store to store during a single day.
· Consistently train and ensure completion of Merchandiser/Sales Associate daily activities including:
* *Merchandising*: Merchandise assigned tables, end caps, or other displays such that the store is 'walk ready' daily within the allocated hours for the store.
* *Signage*: Ensure appropriate signage. (Update all signs in a timely manner for sales and promotional items)
* *Watering*: Coordinate your team with store staff to correct and maintain good watering practices
* *Toss: Audit and follow up with store staff to ensure proper toss procedures are being followed.*
* *Safety*: Address safety concerns to Merchandising Manager, and report all injuries or incidents at the time of occurrence
