Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Medical/Surgical care to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.
Duties:
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
- Assist with procedures such as catheter care, tube feeding, spinal taps, and infection control
- Collaborate with doctors and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide education to patients and their families on health management
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical records systems
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Experience working with patients across different age groups including children and geriatrics
- Ability to handle complex medical cases in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
