*What you will do:*
* Obtain and record a complete clinical history pertinent to examination requested.
* Evaluate requests for appropriateness, refer concerns to coordinator and/or radiologist.
* Instruct patients as to the nature of the exam being performed and effectively communicate information regarding post procedures.
* Ensure proper radiation protection measures are taken to provide an ALARA environment for patients, co-workers and self.
* Understanding the ALARA program and actively participating in dosimetry program.
* Effectively completing all required documentation related to patient care, imaging procedures and RIS requirements.
* Assist in the instruction of new personnel.
*What you will need:*
* Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology
* Ability to demonstrate proper use of positioning devices and other equipment necessary to provide safe, accurate, and complete exams.
* Current ARRT registration, NYS license required and
* Certification to Inject
* Experience on Siemen's equipment preferred
*Pay range:*
* Weekend Track Days Rate: $48.00 per hour
* Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
