The Veterinary Eye Center of Massachusetts, the first standalone referral practice for veterinary ophthalmology in the region, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our talented team.

$27-32/hr.
$5,000 signing bonus based on experience

No overnight or on-call shifts, no late evenings, and no weekend coverage
As a member of the ophthalmology team, in addition to traditional Vet Tech duties, you will be actively involved in:
Client education
Ophthalmic disease testing
Performing pre-surgical diagnostics
Post operative patient care
Rounding with the doctors on cases using learned ophthalmology knowledge
Leading appointments
Requirements:
2 years' experience as a Veterinary Technician
Anesthesia Skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and an ability to clearly communicate with clients as well as team members
The ability to adapt while maintaining a positive attitude
Highly evolved organizational skills with an acute attention to detail
The ability to work independently, responsibly, and ethically
A resourceful nature and creative problem-solving skills
An openness to feedback, coaching, and continuous learning
A commitment to the welfare of animals
