Warehouse Operative (Paint Manufacturing) - Harrow Weald
£13.00 per hour | Full-Time | 4 On, 4 Off Shift Pattern
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy paint manufacturing and distribution company based in Harrow Weald. This is a fast-paced warehouse environment processing approximately 400 orders per day, so candidates must be hardworking, reliable, and able to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
Key Duties:
Safely receive, store, and organise raw materials, including solvents, pigments, resins, and finished paint products.
Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders accurately, ensuring correct product and batch traceability.
Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks and other material-handling equipment, in line with safety procedures.
Carry out stock checks and inventory control activities, reporting any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Load and unload deliveries efficiently and safely.
Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant warehouse environment.
Follow all company health and safety procedures, including COSHH regulations, PPE requirements, and incident reporting processes.
Support the team in achieving daily targets within a high-volume operation.
Requirements:
Previous warehouse experience is essential.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high order volumes.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to attendance.
Must be able to commit to the full-time 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
Good understanding of health and safety practices within a warehouse environment.
