Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the Mental Health Team for Westminster City Council.

Provide operational and professional leadership to the Mental Health Team, ensuring effective and timely service delivery.

Manage, supervise, and support Social Workers and other professionals within the team, promoting reflective practice and continuous professional development.

Provide management oversight of complex cases involving mental health, safeguarding, risk, and capacity concerns.

Ensure high-quality Care Act assessments, support plans, reviews, and safeguarding interventions are completed within statutory timescales.

Provide guidance on Mental Capacity Act assessments, Best Interests decision-making, and other relevant statutory responsibilities.

Work closely with health colleagues, NHS services, housing, carers, voluntary organisations, and other partner agencies to ensure effective multi-disciplinary working.

Monitor caseloads, performance, quality, and statutory compliance, taking appropriate action where improvements are required.

Support staff with complex decision-making, risk management, safeguarding concerns, and challenging cases.

Contribute to service development and continuous improvement, ensuring practice remains person-centred, strengths-based, and outcome-focused.

Ensure all practice complies with relevant legislation, professional standards, and Westminster Council policies and procedures.

£43 p/h Umbrella
Essential Requirements
-
Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent.

Social Work England Registration.
-
Significant post-qualified experience within Adult Social Care.

Previous Team Manager / management experience within an Adult Mental Health service.

Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, safeguarding, and mental health legislation.

Experience managing complex cases involving mental health, risk, safeguarding, and capacity.
-
Strong leadership, supervision, decision-making, and multi-agency partnership-working skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
