PE Global is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Administrator for a leading multi-national Pharma client based in Cambridge.
This is an initial 3 months contract position with potential for extension.
This is a hybrid role (1-2 days from the office).
Interviews will probably be onsite.
Pay rate is between 16.21ph - 27.54ph based on experience.
The Supply Chain Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring timely and accurate coordination of purchase orders, freight, and documentation. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal teams and external partners.
Duties of the role/Responsibilities
• Purchase Order Management - Access and update POs in Atlas for stock distribution. Download cockpit POs for visibility and confirm quantities with internal stakeholders.
• End-to-End Freight Coordination - Manage freight activities from booking to delivery, ensuring compliance with timelines and requirements. Communicate with forwarders for quotes, vessel collection, sailing schedules, and ETA.
• Freight Documentation Preparation - Create packing lists and commercial invoices using Excel templates. Prepare compliance documents including Country of Origin certificates and declarations. Send pro forma invoices and delivery notes created in SAP to ComOps.
• Shipment Tracking & Updates - Monitor deliveries, track shipments, and update production order sheets.
• Internal Communication & Support - Liaise with UK and other warehouses and internal teams regarding shipment readiness. Support local warehouses with inbound stock queries.
• Documentation Management & Analytics Support - Maintain accurate records and file delivery notes in Teams under shipment numbers. Provide data to support upstream reporting and analytics.
Education/Experience
• Must-have for this role is good understanding of Excel and Microsoft, as well as knowledge of SAP Atlas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of freight operations and inventory management.
• Experience using SAP for deliveries and stock allocation.
• Strong analytical skills and process-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
