We are currently seeking an experienced HSG47 Operative to join our client on a National Grid project.
Requirements:

Valid National Grid Person ticket (essential)

Valid HSG47 qualification and experience in safe excavation practices

Competent in the use of CAT & Genny equipment to locate underground services

Previous experience working on civil engineering, utilities, or National Grid projects

Good understanding of site health & safety procedures

Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Duties:

Carry out underground utility detection using CAT & Genny in accordance with HSG47 guidance

Identify, mark, and protect buried services prior to excavation works
-
Assist in ensuring all excavations are carried out safely and in compliance with National Grid procedures

Complete required documentation and report any discrepancies or hazards

Follow site instructions and National Grid safety standards

Assist with general site duties when required
