Resident Services Assistant
Location: Aberdeen
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Duration: Temp (Approximately 2 Months with potential for extension)
Hours: 25 Hours per Week (5 Hours per day)
Are you a people person with excellent customer service skills? Do you enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same? We are currently recruiting for a Resident Services Assistant to join a busy and welcoming student accommodation team in Aberdeen.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a vibrant residential environment, supporting students and helping to create a positive community atmosphere. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone with a customer-focused background who enjoys working with people.
What You'll Be Doing
As the face of the accommodation, you'll be the first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors, ensuring a friendly and professional experience at all times.
Your duties will include:
Managing the front reception desk and welcoming residents and visitors
Handling incoming parcels, deliveries and post
Responding to emails and general enquiries
Providing day-to-day administrative support
Updating the site's Instagram page with appropriate and engaging content
Assisting with the planning and delivery of resident events and activities
Supporting students with general enquiries and directing issues appropriately
Carrying out ad hoc housekeeping and site support duties
Helping to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and enjoys delivering excellent customer service.
Ideally, you'll have:
Previous experience in customer service, reception, hospitality or administration
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
A proactive and positive attitude
Confidence working independently and as part of a team
An interest in social media and community engagement
