Yard Operative
Salary: £30,771 per annum
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am - 5:30pm (30 minutes unpaid break)
Location: Thamesmead, SE28

What will you be doing?
Manage traffic flows in the yard
Monitor pedestrian movement and ensure that site users utilize designated walkways
Controlling site capacity
Directing site access
Enforcing site rules
Quality control of waste Material coming into the depot
Take assertive action to stop unsafe activities.
Ensure Veolia's VMR policies are adhered to
What are we looking for?
Essential:
Basic understanding of Health & Safety
Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial
Experience of Waste management and quality control
Ability to work well as part of a team
