Multi Trade – Void Properties

An established social housing contractor is looking to recruit experienced Multi Trade Operatives to join its Voids property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with a background in social housing maintenance to help refurbish void properties, ensuring homes are brought back to a high standard and ready for new tenants as quickly as possible.
Working across a portfolio of residential properties, the successful candidate will carry out a variety of planned refurbishment works, playing an important role in reducing void turnaround times and delivering quality homes for local communities.
The Role

Refurbishment of empty social housing properties.

Kitchen and bathroom installations, including all associated works.

Carpentry repairs and maintenance.

Domestic plumbing, tiling, flooring and decorating.

Completing works to a high standard within agreed programmes.

Recording completed works using handheld devices.

Working safely and professionally while delivering excellent workmanship.
Requirements

Previous experience working within social housing, planned maintenance or void property refurbishment.

Strong experience installing kitchens and bathrooms.

Good all-round carpentry skills.

Competence in plumbing, tiling, flooring and decorating.

The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.

Experience using handheld IT systems to record work.

A good understanding of health and safety within occupied and void residential properties.

A full UK driving licence.
