Finance and Office Assistant

We're looking for a proactive and organised Finance and Office Assistant to join a growing business in Welwyn Garden City. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around a year's office experience who enjoys administration, has great attention to detail and wants to build valuable finance skills along the way.
Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly, supporting colleagues, maintaining accurate records and providing first-class administrative support, while gaining hands-on experience across finance.
What You'll Be Doing

Managing client enquiries by phone and shared mailboxes.

Providing day-to-day administrative support across the business.

Processing reports, certificates, invoices and compliance documentation.

Uploading documents and invoices to client portals.

Maintaining accurate digital records, databases and SharePoint files.

Supporting invoicing, credit control and finance administration.

Assisting with supplier and customer queries.

Working closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
What We're Looking For

Around one year's experience in an office administration role.

Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.

A confident communicator with a professional and friendly approach.

Good Microsoft Office skills and confidence using business systems.

A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Experience with CRM or accounting software is helpful but not essential- full training will be provided.
