Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer, they are looking for a skilled Mechanical Assembler / Mechanical Assembly Operative / Mechanical Fitter to mechanically assemble their manufactured machinery to a high quality standard.
Salary: £18.04 per hour + Overtime at x1.5
Hours of work: 40 hours a week, 8.00am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday
PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

At least 3 years’ experience as a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Engineer / Assembly Operative, preferably in an Engineering background

Advanced NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject, or Apprentice trained

Bespoke Machine / Special Purpose Machinery building experience will be favoured, however other industries building bespoke capital equipment will also be considered

Computer skills in Excel and Word
Responsibilities:

The mechanical assembly of a wide variety of machinery parts

Read and interpret mechanical assembly diagrams, engineering drawings, bills of material and specifications

Confirm quality checks have been completed

Providing training, guidance, and support to apprentices and other members of the assembly team to increase their skills and knowledge base

Support the integration of new product lines being adopted
This job would suit someone with previous experience in a similar role, such as; Mechanical Assembler / Assembly Operative / Assembly Operator / Assembly Technician / Mechanical Installer
