Cargo Warehouse Operatives – East Midlands Airport
Complete Workforce Solutions is recruiting experienced warehouse and cargo personnel for upcoming air-cargo opportunities at East Midlands Airport.
The work will involve preparing, sorting and handling freight within a secure airport logistics environment.
Typical duties may include:

Building and breaking down cargo pallets

Handling pallets, freight and unit load devices
-
Sorting cargo for different customers or destinations
-
Scanning and recording freight
-
Preparing cargo for aircraft movements
-
Moving freight between operational areas
-
Identifying and reporting damaged cargo
-
Following aviation-security and cargo-handling procedures
-
Completing basic operational paperwork
-
Maintaining safe working practices
Applicants should have:
-
Previous cargo, freight, warehouse or logistics experience
-
Experience working with pallets and heavier freight
-
Good attention to detail
-
Reliable transport to East Midlands Airport

The ability to work early, late and weekend shifts
-
The right to work in the UK
-
A checkable work and activity history
-
The ability to complete DBS, security and cargo-training requirements
Previous air-cargo or airport experience is desirable, although applicants with strong freight, parcel-hub or distribution experience will also be considered.
