Finance Apprentice | Castleford | £25,000 | AAT Study Support with Day Release

Working closely with the Financial Controller and Management Accountant, you'll be given the training, mentoring and hands-on experience needed to build a long-term career in accounting.This role is suitable for a college leaver or a junior finance person looking for an apprenticeship.
This is a varied, all-round finance position where no two days are the same. As your experience grows, so will your responsibilities.
Duties will include:
Processing purchase and sales invoices
Bank reconciliations
Credit control support
Assisting with payment runs
Supplier statement reconciliations
Supporting month-end processes
Maintaining accurate financial records
Providing general support to the wider finance team
This opportunity would suit someone at the beginning of their finance career who is ambitious, eager to learn and keen to gain professional qualifications.
You'll ideally have:
College leaver
A keen interest in completing an AAT Qualification
Some previous finance or accounts administration of office experience
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
A genuine desire to build a long-term career within finance
